Members of several Native American tribes from throughout the Southwest are performing and competing in a Pow Wow competition at Lake Havasu State Park Windsor 4 through Saturday.
The event, presented by Veterans United, honors Native American veterans.
Dancing competition in men’s, women’s and boys and girls traditional and fancy, grass, jingle and chicken dancing will continue Saturday, with cash prizes for all categories awarded upon completion.
More than 40 Native American food and craft vendors are also on hand.
The event will continue until 5 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday. Admission is $15 per day, per person.
