A rededication ceremony to honor and remember those who lost their lives during the September 11, terror attacks 14 years ago will take place Friday, at London Bridge Beach.
The ceremony will also honor first responders and all service organizations in Lake Havasu City and around the country who work daily to protect and serve the community.
“The patriotism at this event is always great,” said Paul Murray with the 9/11 Memorial Committee. “It is also important that we never forget those we lost and those who work everyday to protect our freedom.”
City officials will address those attending and share their sentiments. The event is free and will start at 9 a.m., at London Bridge Beach, 1340 McCulloch Blvd. For more information, call 928-855-2480.
