When Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City replaced its annual home tour fundraiser last year with the Southwest Chowderfest, they didn’t know it would be the hit that turned out to be.
The organization is finalizing its plan for the 2023 version of Southwest Chowdersfest and for those who are looking for the perfect Christmas stocking stuffer for that hard-to-shop-for friend or relative, a ticket to the event might just be the answer.
Tickets are available online right now for the event that will take place March 11, from 1 to 5 p.m., with VIP entry at noon, at Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4. Tickets are $35 per person and children under 12 are admitted for free.
Southwest Chowderfest features friendly competition between local Lake Havasu chefs.
Applications for local chefs are also now available. The entry fee is $25.
