Lake Havasu High School students learned a lesson on the effects on drunken driving Thursday morning during a staged accident scene called “Operation Prom Night.”

AMR River Medical, Community Emergency Response Team, Lake Havasu Fire, Lake Havasu Police, Air Methods/Careflight, Guardian Air Medical Transport, Mohave County Medical Examiner, and Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association came together to show the dangers of drunken driving.

Students were selected as the actors in the scene which included bloody makeup to make the scene as realistic as possible.
