The 35th annual Winter Blast Show wowed spectators from inside and around SARA Park last week.
Early seminars and workshops included how to “Build Your Own Pyro” and another station supplied sparklers for younger spectators to enjoy during the day. Others set up camp and tailgated before the show in nearby areas outside the park.
“Every few years, when we have company, we like to get out and see the show. Typically, we will play cards and and enjoy some great food outside SARA Park,” said spectator and Lake Havasu City Resident Larry Mathias.
“The best part of getting together is watching the fireworks,” said Tucson resident Vicky Mathis, who visits family in Lake Havasu City.
The Western Pyrotechnics Association (WPA) each year ensures a safe event with experts trained to in the safe use of fireworks and pyrotechnics while entertaining the community.
