WNEA Awards Scholarships To Mohave College Students

The Women’s Network Exchange of Arizona (WNEA) celebrated student achievement during its annual Scholarship Banquet and end-of-year meeting June. 11, at the London Bridge Resort.

The WNEA Scholarship Committee, WNEA members Beth Hooven, Teri Parcells and Shannon Condie, awarded three scholarships to local students pursuing higher education. 

The $1,500 scholarships will be paid directly to each recipient’s college, university or approved training program to support their educational goals.

This year’s scholarship recipients are:

Mckenzie Katherine Rodriguez, Mohave College
Alexa Luzandra Alvarado, Mohave College
Siena Snedeker, Mohave College

One of the scholarships was sponsored by Women With Willpower, a
community organization dedicated to supporting and empowering women.

“The scholarship program reflects WNEA’s commitment to investing in the future of our community by helping women achieve their educational and career goals,” said Interim President, Janet Cruz.

The annual banquet provided an opportunity to recognize the scholarship recipients while also celebrating the accomplishments of the organization during the past year.

Women’s Network Exchange of Arizona supports education, networking, mentorship and community service initiatives throughout the region and is a local 501(c)(3).
