More than 150 children participated in Pond Hopper's "Teach A Child How To Fish Day." The participants were invited to fish at Mesquite Bay and Windsor Four and were given a T-shirt. The Friends of the Bill Williams River and Havasu National Wildlife refuges were on hand to assist the children.
Lake Havasu High School celebrated the arts Friday night with a Spring Fashion Show and a theater production of "The Pirates of Penzance."
The fashion show featured clothing made by students and also modeled by students. Some of the outfits included pajama pants, dresses and springtime fashions....
The Relay for Life was held Friday evening at the Lake Havasu High School Lee Barnes Stadium. Participants walked in memory of loved ones around the track and stayed up all night to raise money for the American Cancer Association. The event lasted until 6am Saturday morning.

The Shops at Lake Havasu and Star Cinemas joined together to host an egg-cellent good time Saturday morning. Children of all ages were invited to The Shops for an egg hunt and afterward, they were treated to a free showing of "The Lorax" at Star Cinemas.

The Lake Havasu High School Youth Court hosted "A Chocolate Affair" fundraiser Saturday night at the Nautical Inn Convention Center. Three hundred tickets were sold for the event which featured 11 vendors for chocolate lovers.

Over 70 cyclists rode in remembrance of Sandy Alger, Larry Smith, Deb Robison, and Ken Stamm Saturday morning. The cyclists began their ride at Havasu Bike and Fitness and ended the ride at The Shops. Following the ride, they were given refreshments at Mudshark Brewery.
