The 20th Annual Queen’s Tea, presented by the Lake Havasu City Historical Society/Museum of History, will be Feb. 28, from 2-4 p.m., in the King Arthur Room of the London Bridge Resort.

The tea celebrates the tradition of English High Tea complete with scones, strawberries and of course, tea. The Lake Havasu Museum of History provides a variety of vintage tea cups in which the tea is served.

Costumes are encouraged and a prize for best hat will be awarded. The hat contest is popular, so get out those hats and take part in the fun.

Queen (Margie Snyder) and her court will be in attendance meeting and greeting guests and presiding over the festivities.

A fashion show presented by Chic Again will once again highlight the event. This year, as a special treat, Stella Greb, of Chic Again, will be showing part of her extensive hat collection. Some of the hats are offered for sale at Chic Again and some also will be modeled.

The cost of the tea is $25 and proceeds benefit the museum. There also will be raffle prizes.

Reservations may be made by calling the museum at 928-854-4938 by Feb. 25.

The London Bridge Resort is located at 1477 Queen’s Bay.
