In celebration of Independence Day, the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center will host its seventh annual Patriotic Celebration Saturday in the Rods n Relics hall from 9-10 a.m.
Hosted by Havasu Calvary Baptist Church, Hilltop Church, and Lake Havasu Marine Corps League Detachment 757 Honor Guard, this celebration of military veterans and first responders celebrates and highlights the sacrifices made by those who have dedicated themselves to the defense of the nation.
Featuring the town’s Wall of Honor, displaying the hundreds of local service men and women and first responders who have served in support of the nation, this patriotic celebration of freedom honors those who have contributed their time and sacrificed their lives to guarantee liberty.
The event will be highlighted by first responders and honorably discharged veterans and a 21-gun salute. Following the morning’s celebration, the Fireworks Over the Lake display will be approximately 30 minutes after sundown over Thompson Bay.
There are 300 parking spaces behind the Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave. Visitors are welcomed to make a day of the celebration at the center in celebration of the holiday.
