Schools in Lake Havasu City are showing their festive spirit the holiday season continues.
The front office windows of Havasu Preparatory Academy are painted with different holiday images. They also are having a holiday spirit week where they dress up as different winter themes.
Nautilus Elementary is very spirited, the principal Shannon Williams saying, “We love Christmas and getting in the spirit.”

They are having a door decorating contest where the students assist in decorating the classroom doors and the families of students get an opportunity to vote for the winner.
Nautilus performed two Holiday concerts on Monday and Wednesday, presented by music teacher Barbara Hunting.
Lake Havasu High School hosted a schoolwide hallway decorating competition. Teachers decorated their respective hallways, requesting student help if needed. The students voted for their favorite hallways, fueling a competitive spirit between teachers.

The students appreciated the decorations, as it provided a holiday experience that relieved stress from the upcoming final exam week.
These fun school traditions put the students in a festive mood and it was the perfect way to send them off for Winter Break.
