Day one of the Winterfest Street Festival wrapped up Saturday, bringing crowds, busy vendor booths, and a festive atmosphere to downtown McCulloch Boulevard in Lake Havasu City.
More than 240 vendors filled the street offering everything from handcrafted goods, food options, commercial to artisan products.
“This is our fifth year at Winterfest. We traveled from Northern California and its great to be here. I love that the people are so friendly, we love the weather and the lake views,” said Jodi Mullen vendor and owner of Yeah Yeah Pony Prince.

Yeah Yeah Pony Prince has original art design clothing for sale inspired by Japanese wood block printing.
“Each piece is uniquely designed and lasts many washes,” said Mullen.
Shoppers moved through the event throughout the day, stopping to browse, eat, and enjoy one of the community’s longest-running winter traditions.
There are also tasty treats to be found such as London Bridge Jerky Company.

“Myself and Dan have been in business for three years, and have been vendors for two years here,” said Christy Behrens with London Bridge Jerky Company. We offer brisket Jerky which is a little more soft and tender than traditional jerky, and a few other flavors. We also deliver for a fee in locally in Havasu,” said Behrens.
Handmade products including natural handmade soaps can also be found at the Suds And Sunsets Co. Booth.
“We are local born and raised in Lake Havasu, and we offer natural soapies, and beard oils for him. We also have unique soap shapes such as cupcakes for purchase, all are natural,” said Katie Schencone vendor and owner of Suds And Sunsets Co.

Families took advantage of the kid zone, while yard games and the beer garden inside the commons area on Main Street provided gathering spots for visitors.
Live music by Cross Cutt added to the atmosphere Saturday, drawing crowds to pause and enjoy the performances.

Volunteers were visible throughout the day, assisting with logistics, answering questions, and helping ensure the event ran smoothly.
Winterfest resumes Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring another full day of shopping, food, family-friendly activities, and live music by Marsha Star.
