Annual Havasu Stitchers Quilt Show Runs Through This Weekend

More than 150 quilts will be on display now through the weekend at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center as part of the Annual Bridge of Friendship XVI Quilt Show, presented by the Havasu Stitchers club. This year’s theme is “Visions of Color in The Desert.”

The event will feature several quilts made using different styles, techniques and themes created by members of the Havasu Stitchers club along with some outside entries.

Attendees can also take a glimpse of the popular Underwater Quilt Challenge, and do a bit of shopping at a Sew Unique Boutique offering handmade items for sale.

“This is our 16th year, and I am always in awe of the many very gorgeous quilts that we get to display at the show, and some will also be available to purchase,” said Havasu Stitchers Quilt Show Chair, Carole Arcilla.

Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in the Heart’s Desire basket raffle, which includes multiple themed baskets, and there is an opportunity to win the event’s “Opportunity Quilt.”

Tickets are $10 and are good for all three days. The event is open to the public. Tickets are available to purchase at the door.

Bridge of Friendship XVI Quilt Show takes place today, noon to 4 p.m., Friday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Lake Havasu Aquatic Center located at 100 Park Ave.
