With summer temperatures into the triple digits, finding ways to stay cool becomes a priority for many Lake Havasu City residents. While the lake remains a popular attraction, there are plenty of indoor options for those looking to escape the desert heat and take their entertainment indoors during the hottest months.

Indoor Swimming/ Water Fitness  (all ages)

For those looking for a swim without the sunburn,  visit the Aquatic Center for some lap swim or some water aerobics.  The Aquatic Center offers lap swim in a 6-lane 25-meter pool. Kickboards and fins are available for use on a first come, first serve basis.

Indoor Golf (Adults) 

Back Nine Golf

Back Nine Golf is an indoor golf destination offering 24/7 access to cutting-edge indoor golf simulator bays.

Too hot for the park? well visit the Indoor Sunshine playground, coffee shop, boutique, and premier party venue  located at The Shops in Lake Havasu City.  The kids could play in a cool air conditioned space while parents can fill up on some coffee. Fees vary.

Open Play at Universal Sonics Gymnastics & Cheer (Ages 0-6)

Universal Gymnastics is introducing a new Daytime Playtime program for children ages 0 to 6, giving families a fun way to stay active indoors during the summer. Held Tuesdays from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., the drop-in open gym offers kids the chance to run, jump, tumble and play in the facility’s 10,000-square-foot air-conditioned gym while parents connect with one another.

Admission is $10 per child and $5 for siblings, with adult supervision required. No pre-registration is needed, though participants must complete a waiver. For more information, call  928-453-1313. The gym is located at 2245 N. Kiowa Blvd.

The Mohave County Public Library in Lake Havasu City is much more than a place to borrow books. It offers a wide range of free resources and community services, including: Books, eBooks, audiobooks, movies, and magazines.

Cocktails And Canvas Paint And Sip Nights at London Bridge Resort

Looking for a creative night out? Cocktails and Canvas  at the London Bridge Resort (Tuesday nights) events offer participants the chance to unwind while creating their own work of art in a relaxed, social atmosphere.
