Nestled on the north side of town, Avalon Park is located at 1294 Avalon Ave. The park offers a quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of the center of town.

Avalon is equipped with a full playground, as well as basketball hoops at the edge of the parking lot. Covered ramadas provide a respite from the summer heat and sun and a near one-fifth-mile walking path, along with restroom facilities that are also available to the public. The park is known locally as a wonderful setting for a family outing.

A fenced in dog park is located within the area for pet owners and their pooches to enjoy.
