More than 50 people gathered at Rotary Beach Saturday evening for  Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.

Rae of Hope, organized by Lake Havasu City residents Tamara and Dennis Weaver after the loss of their daughter, hosted the local event to remember babies miscarried or stillborn.

A raffle  raised funds for Rae of Hope to assist mothers who have lost a child during or right after pregnancy.

There was a balloon release after a candlelit ceremony.
