This weekend Lake Havasu City welcomes back the Renaissance Faire for its fourth annual celebration of Renaissance history. This year multiple guilds will be in attendance and there will be plenty of activities for Havasu Renaissance fan to enjoy.
The London Bridge Renaissance Faire will be held at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds from March 15 through 17. More than 11 guilds will be participating this year, each bringing its own unique brand of entertainment.
The Silk Moon Nomads, a Lake Havasu City belly-dancing troupe, will be performing throughout the fair, alongside a pyro juggler, a caravan circus, dancers, and many more performers.
The event will also include a costume contest Saturday and Sunday with a special reward from the queen, a Royal Court Parade, and a knighting ceremony at 2:30 p.m. Knights will also be jousting at 1 p.m. on the Faire grounds.
In addition to the live music and performers, the London Bridge Renaissance Faire has fencing and a live gunpowder preview. There will also be a wealth of food and drink vendors.
