The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the reconstruction of the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City continued under the bridge with the Royal Ball and Garden Brunch Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
The Silk Moon Nomads Belly Dancers performed during the four-course meal Saturday evening and entertained party goers. Her majesty’s Royal Court sat at the head table led by Melanie Preston. The sound and lighting was provided by High End Productions.
“The Royal Ball and the Garden Brunch were a first time in the bridge’s history that a dinner event was held under the bridge and it was very well received.
“Havashire Festivals Inc., put on both events and partnered with the Lake Havasu Museum of History, to make both events come to life,” Preston said.
Fancy hats were the order of the day Sunday at the Garden Brunch.
