Nearly 1,000 Participate In Saturday Running Events

Havasu Healthy Striders, under the umbrella of the Havasu Community Health Foundation, along with Mercury Events hosted the Havasu Half Marathon Saturday morning. The event was at London Bridge Beach in Lake Havasu City.

There were 363 participants in the Havasu Half Marathon. The 5K had 316 runners, with the Havasu Half Marathon at 363 participants, the 5K had 316, the Doggie Dash 3k had 38, and the Virtual Lighthouse Challenge had 47.

Along with a few virtual races, the total number of participants was 979.
