As Lake Havasu City folks prepare for summer heat and all that goes along with that, RiverScene Magazine kicks off a new throw-back section that will publish occasionally featuring photos from the past.

The first walk down memory lane is from October 2008.

October traditionally kicks off event season in Lake Havasu with the celebration of the dedication of the London Bridge. The whole month of October is really a 31-day celebration and folks begin marking their calendars early, culminating with Halloween on Oct. 31.
