Coming up on Monday, April 8th we are having an ECLIPSE PARTY! Starting at 9:00 we’ll have an all ages FREE and fun astronomy presentation in Community Rooms A/B, followed by an opportunity to view the Eclipse outside. Those attending the event will get a pair of solar glasses to keep and we hope you’ll join us!
For those who cannot attend the Monday morning event, we do have a LIMITED number of free solar glasses to hand out. These are first come, first serve, and available at our Information Desk ONLY while supplies last ONE (1) pair per person – be sure to stop by the library!
Nationwide the entire Monday, April 8, 2024 total eclipse event will run from 08:43 am to 1:52 pm MST.
For Lake Havasu City viewing of the eclipse, It will take place between 10:15 am and 12:30 pm MST with the “best” view being between 11:00 am and 11:30 am MST (max coverage of the sun will be 56% at 11:17 am MST)
