Lake Havasu City residents and those across Arizona, were treated to a rare colorful light show in the skies Friday night.
The northern lights were compliments of a solar storm or “geomagnetic storm” which took place allowing Havasu residents and those in other parts of the country, to catch a glimpse.
There is another possible chance to see them again tonight, so keep your eyes towards the Northern skies after sunset. It may not be visible to the naked eye, so your phone or camera may be able to capture it.
Check out some of the cool photos captured by RiverScene Magazine fans of the rare light show.
