A rare and much-needed thunderstorm rolled through Lake Havasu City early Friday morning.
At approximately 4 a.m., the area was hit with rain, lightning and thunder during the storm.
According to the Las Vegas National Weather Service, winds maxed out at 28 mph at the Lake Havasu Municipal Airport, and some areas around town received close to a half inch of rain.
Here are photos of sunrise after the storm and a rainbow that hung around in the sky for quite some time afterwards.
