Heidi Edwards Cooking For Cancer Raises Funds For Havasu Families

The Heidi Edwards Cooking For Cancer Foundation hosted its annual “It’s Taco Time Somewhere” event Thursday night in Lake Havasu City.

The fundraiser was held at Lake Havasu Golf Course and featured a taco dinner prepared by local restaurants. A golf tournament also took place during the day as part of the fundraiser in which 18 teams participated.

Participating restaraunts included Burrito Shak, Stubby’s Red Wagon, Julissa’s, El Chaparro, Rotary Kitchen, Lakeview Grill, La Vita Dolce, Shugrue’s, Sonora Tacos Y Mariscos, Stevens Tacos and Small Cakes.

Local band “Mile High” provided the entertainment.
