Listen up Toyota enthusiasts! Bring off-road or cool Toyota builds and meet with other Toyota off-road vehicle owners at the second annual Toyota Take Over meet up this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Anderson Toyota.
“This is an event where like-minded individuals can come together who share the same appreciation of their off road Toyota rigs. It’s kind of cool to meet up with people who have created social media pages based on their vehicles and have them all come together in one place,” said Kalen Marshall with Anderson Toyota.
The event is in it’s second year, and features food vendors, a DJ and Toyota off-road owners locally and around the state gathering in one place. The goal is to mingle with other Toyota owners, and also have the opportunity to win prizes such as lift kits, tow hooks and more for their vehicles at a raffle at the event.
“Last year was definitely our trial year, however this year we already have more vendors and around 250 people registered to participate,” Marshall said.
This year, participants are required to check in prior to 10 a.m., at a check in booth. Two raffles will also take place mid day and at the closing of the event.
“If anyone wants to do some trails, we will also have the opportunity to get out there and do a off road trail ride together,” Marshall said.
The event takes place this Saturday, at Anderson Toyota, 6510 Showplace Ave.
