The ADBA “Best In The West Shootout” roared this weekend at BlueWater Resort and Casino, in Parker.

Some of the top classes in the Arizona Drag Boat Association competed for the more than a $10,000 purse. A few noteables were, Mark Reese, out of Mohave Valley, running his Pro Eliminator Hydro, Hydro 1/4 Zone, had the fastest time of the meet running 5.98 seconds.

Lake Havasu’s  Duane Thornton had a great weekend running Born Insanity, another PE class boat. Rob Miller in his River Racer #60 also had a great event.

Tony Scarlata also made an appearance with a new Blown Alcohol Flat and turned a blistering time of 6.02.

Brian Coin made an appearance without a boat and was in the pits helping out the Scarlata crew.

The Trophy Wife’s very own Garrett Breistig takes home the title and  $6000.00. Rob Miller came in a close second in Old School  #60.
