Lake Havasu City, Arizona. June 12, 2018 – The Havasu Stingrays Swim Team is hosting the 6th annual Memorial Lake Swim in honor of Coach Mike Taylor at Windsor 4. Coach Mike took a lot of pride in this event, which he started in 2007 for training purposes and also for a sense of great accomplishment for the swimmers. It is a very challenging 3-mile swim across the widest part of Lake Havasu, starting on the California side and finishing on the Arizona side.

Swimmers will have to negotiate currents, varied water temperatures, and weather conditions. The Stingrays are respectfully requesting for boaters and personal watercraft users to exercise extreme caution on the lake that morning, as there will be children in the water from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.
