On Wednesday, March 27th from 5 to 6 p.m. in Santiago Hall, ASU Lake Havasu City will host a book signing event for local author Elizabeth Vidad. Her book, “Michael’s Legacy-How a Village Helped us Raise Our Son.”

At the time of Michael’s birth, the prognosis for those with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) was that they usually did not survive much beyond their early teens. Inside this book is the story of how Michael’s parents and the community of Lake Havasu City, AZ, instead of waiting for death, helped Michael to live. With their help and encouragement, Michael made a choice to hold on to his faith in Christ and live every day to God’s glory.
