Some Lake Havasu City residents have been anxiously awaiting monsoon storms to kick back up in the area after a very dry past few years.

This year, storms have  been firing up more frequently in the Tri-State area which means gorgeous sunsets with rainbows, red and yellow clouds, rain shafts, and even a lighting bolt or two.

Here is photo gallery from Saturday night’s monsoon storm on the south end of town which resulting in a stunning sunset.

Storms are possible in Lake Havasu through Sunday night.
