Lake Havasu High School incoming ninth-graders were given a tour the campus Monday morning during the Freshman Kick Off.

Students were divided into groups with freshmen mentors and were shown where their classrooms were and how to open lockers. More than 500 freshmen are expected on the first day of school.

The students were invited to an open house Thursday, at the LHHS gym to meet their teachers.

The Lake Havasu Unified School District begins the 2017-18 school year Monday.
