The 2026 Inaugural “Battle for the Buoy” Firefighter Water Ball Showdown Fundraiser was presented by Altitude Trampoline Park on today.
The event featured businesses and organizations in town, with Bounce Babe Boutique, Child & Family Resources, Elite Cheer Athletics, Mohave Mist & Spa, and J’s House of Bounce Rentals setting up booths and inflatables.
Both Desert Hills Fire and Mohave Valley Fire Department showed up to battle for the buoy in a high-energy competition.
Randi Lugo, General Manager at Altitude Trampoline Park, produced the event along with Bill Renfro, who is the owner of Altitude Trampoline Park.
Lugo said, “We’re super excited to bring together a community event for the fire department here. Today we have Desert Hills Fire here and Mohave Valley.”
The competition had the fire departments spray a suspended buoy with the goal of moving it to the other side of the suspension.
The respective fire departments competed in a tournament style.
