Monday was the first day of school for students in the Lake Havasu Unified School District and Telesis Preparatory Academy.
It was a first day that didn’t disappoint. Last year, school was very different because of COVID-19, but this year, students will be in person in their classrooms with teachers doing what they do best.
All Havasuvians are asked to remember that the speed limit in all school zones is 15 mph. School zones are clearly marked.
Be aware that children will be making their way to schools all over town on foot, on bicycles, on skateboards and via their parents. Watch out for them.
And RiverScene was there to capture all the excitement of a much-anticipated back to school day. Parents also submitted photos on our Facebook page.
