Saturday afternoon the Lake Havasu High School Lady Knights varsity volleyball team took part in the Mary Jo Goldey  Invitational Tournament against Needles, River Valley (Dust Devils), Yuma Catholic (Shamrocks), San Luis (Sidewinders), Kingman Academy (Tigers), Independence (Patriots), and Mohave (Thunderbirds).

The Lady Knights won out every match against every team save for a game against Yuma Catholic, where the Knights still won the series overall 2-1.

The Knights also beat Needles 3-0, they beat the Dust Devils 1-0, the Sidewinders 1-0, the Tigers 1-0, the Patriots 2-0, and the T-Birds 2-0. Havasu’s Lady Knights emerged victorious in a big way Saturday, and will hopefully carry that momentum heading into their next game on Monday, where they go against Kingman Academy in Kingman. The JV and freshman teams will also be in attendance against Kingman Academy, in a match that the Knights look to win in order to keep up their impressive play.
