For members of the Lake Havasu High School classes of 1970-1976, the weekend has been filled with seeing old friends and remembering old times.
A multi-class reunion began Friday and will continue through Sunday in Lake Havasu City.
Toni Trembley Ade, event organizer and Lake Havasu City Pioneer, said Saturday, “This is a multi-class reunion from the grades of 70-76. It’s combining the anniversary of the 50th anniversary of the Class of ‘73.”
Friday, the Class of ‘73 enjoyed a private party, Ade said.
“Sunday, we’re meeting to go see the bricks that have been laid for the Pioneers and then we’re going over to Kokomo to celebrate together, too. That’s for friends and family – everyone can come.”
Ade said that Saturday and Sunday had their own themes. “Tonight, we’re all dressing retro ‘70s. Tomorrow’s tie-dye party.”
