Legends of Havasu Made A Splash In Havasu With Entertainment Extravaganza

American Outdoor Events hosted Legends of Havasu over the weekend for the first time in Lake Havasu City.

Marketing director for American Outdoor Event Christina Davidson said the decision to present the event in Lake Havasu came from the Ultra4 off-road organization.

“It started with Ultra4 those guys love it here. They’ve been here before and they wanted to come out. They love the terrain, they love the desert. They love the rocks,” Davidson said.

“Lake Havasu City ahs been amazing to work with. Once we saw that we could make this something big, we went all out,” she said.

The event consisted of Ultra4 USA off road racing in Standard Wash, American SXS Takeover at Crazyhorse Campground, Formula 1 Powerboat racing at the Nautical Beachfront Inn, and International Pro Rodeo Association Bull Riding Tour Finale at Crazy Horse Campground.

Vendor Village was the center of it all at Windsor 4 where people could also watch the racing on big screens.

Friday evening, Bret Michaels Party Gras Tour made a stop in Lake Havasu and wowed the crowd at Windsor 4 with guests Dee Snider and Rome from Sublime with Rome.

Michaels energetically worked the stage as he sang hits such as “Every Rose Has it’s Thorn” and “Unskinny Bop.” The crowd also went crazy when Dee Snider sang “I Wanna Rock” and “We’re Not Gonna Take It.” Rome belted out hit songs by Sublime with Michael’s band.

Saturday evening, Flo Rida took the stage, singing such hits as “Welcome to My House” and “Whistle.” The Havasu crowd jumped and went wild during the two-hour concert. At one point, Flo Rida walked out into the crowd with his crew and handed out autographed shoes he wore onstage.
