Lake Havasu City Parks And Recreation Department is rolling out a variety of adventure-based summer programs to keep kids in the community busy and engaged.
One summer camp that will offer adventure experiences for kids ages 9 and up, is the Adventure Academy Camp.
“This particular camp is geared for our older kids and it is going to focus on sports, involve more outings and beach days, which are planned by our recreation staff,” said Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center Manager, Swan Cooke. This camp will be focused on what this particular age group are most interested in.”
The Adventure Academy Camp is designed for youth ages 9-14, and will provide participants with the opportunity to engage in a variety of outdoor and water-based activities in a safe and supervised environment.
