FRIDAY, MARCH 3

9th annual Bluegrass on the Beach Music Festival

The event is 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 3-4; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Lake Havasu State Park’s Windsor 4. There are jam sessions on and off stage so bring your favorite instrument if you feel like picking along. Event includes workshops, crafts, and a kid’s zone. Inaugural Pickleball Tournament

The event is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 3-5, at Dick Samp Park’s newly opened pickle ball courts. Men’s doubles are Friday; Women’s doubles are Saturday, and Mixed doubles are Sunday. Spectatorship is free. www.lakehavasupickleball.com.

SATURDAY, MARCH 4

National Quilt Day/Havasu Stitchers

The event is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, at Quality Inn & Suites. The large quilt display includes lessons about history and varied quilting techniques. Admission is a canned-good donation. www.havasustitchers.com.

American Legion Riders Annual Poker Run

The event is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 4. It begins at the American Legion Post 81, in Havasu. The all-wheels event is for cars, trucks, bikes and trikes. The five stops include Desert Thunder Motorcycle Shop, R Bar & Grill, London Bridge Harley-Davidson, Topock 66, VFW Golden Shores, and a mystery stop. Arizona Walk MS 2017 – Lake Havasu City

The event is 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 4, on the Island Trail. The starting line is at Beachcomber and McCulloch boulevards. The trail is a 3.6-mile loop. Admission is free but fundraising efforts are appreciated. www.walkmsarizona.org.

Philanthropic Educational Organization’s Fashion Show & Luncheon

The event begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch is at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 4. Advanced-ticket purchase is $20. www.peointernational.org.

Lake Havasu Brews & Brats Festival

5th annual “The Car Door Show”

The event is 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds. The fundraiser-auction is hosted by Otterbach and the K12 Foundation. Proceeds benefit Havasu for Youth and the Allied Arts Council. Admission is $10; youth 12-years-old and younger admitted free. Artist entry fee is $10.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8

Queen’s Tea

The event is 3-4p.m. Wednesdays at London Bridge Resort. Learn about the history of tea and the London Bridge while enjoying a variety of hot teach, scones with clotted cream and jam, wafer cookies and cheesecakes. Cost is $10 per person.

Women & Wine

The event is 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Pennington’s Pub. It is hosted by, and benefits, Women with Willpower.

World Off-Road Championship Series: Motorcycle Weekend

Grace Arts LIVE presents “The Sound of Music”

Sock Hop & Car Show

One Summer Night Cruisers Unity Run & Show

Prospecting in Mohave County

Learn about recreational prospecting from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 11, at Mohave County Library – Lake Havasu Room A/B. The program is hosted by the Mohave Prospectors Association.

11th annual Geocache Desert Bash

The event is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, at Cattail Cove State Park, located 15 miles south of Havasu on State Route 95. It is a treasure hunt using handheld GPS devices alongside music, a cactus walk, presentation, and food. Admission is free.

Havasu Art Guild 38th annual “Art at the Lake” Spring Show

The event showcases regional artists. It is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, at the Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center. Admission is free. www.havasuartguild.com.

Hobie-McCulloch Cup

The regatta is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 11-12, at Lake Havasu State Park’s Windsor 4. Races will commence in the Lake’s north basin. Spectator admission is $3. www.lhyc.net.

8th annual Denise’s Day (Fight Against Cancer)

Tom Mix: King of The Cowboys

Step back into movie history with this program hosted by the Lake Havasu Museum of History at ASU Colleges at Lake Havasu City. The program is at 7 p.m. in the ASU gymnasium. There will be a wine and cheese reception for museum members in the gym from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Bob’s Birthday Breakfast

A pancake breakfast to celebrate the 106th birthday of Robert P. McCulloch, the founder of Lake Havasu City, is planned for March 26. Although McCulloch’s birthday is actually in May, he shouldn’t mind celebrating during a cooler time of the year.

The breakfast is from 7-10 a.m. at the Lake Havasu Museum of History, 320 London Bridge Road. Donations will be accepted to cover breakfast. In addition to pancakes, there will be cake and trivia. Admission to the museum is free during the breakfast.

Havasu Armored Combat League U.S. Nationals

    On march 11 and 25 it says at havasu 95 speedway racing starts at noon which is wrong gates open at 4 racing starts at 6pm
