The Allied Arts Council of Lake Havasu City will host its annual art auction Nov. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., at College Street Brewhouse and Pub.

This year’s auction theme is music and those music-themed art pieces made by local artists will be up for grabs when the live auction starts featuring auctioneer Scott Taylor.

The annual art auction helps fund community support grants and student arts scholarships offered each year. Some of the arts groups benefiting from this support include the Lake Havasu Ballet, Lake Havasu Community Orchestra, Community Choir, Symphonic Winds, Lake Havasu Concert Association and more.

Those attending can bid on the live auction items or participate in the Chinese auction of a variety of unique gift baskets donated by area businesses and organizations. Some of the artists participating include Adam Romano, Sue Stebila, Deb Riva, Aymie Spitzer and Kayley Galati, among many others.

Admission to the auction is $5 and College Street appetizers are included in admission. There will be a craft beer and wine cash bar available as well.

Local musician Cameron Marin of the Borrowers will provide the perfect addition to the artistic atmosphere.

College Street Brewhouse and Pub is located at 1940 College Drive. Signs will direct auction goers to the entrance to the brewing area where the event takes place.

Sponsorships are available at various levels through Oct. 31. For more information about sponsorships, contact Louise Connell at 928-412-2118 or by email at bestweezie@gmail.com.
