It’s the time of year again where cowboys and cowgirls in Lake Havasu City and from around the Southwest show off their skills and the little ones get to have some fun at the annual Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association and Delbert Days Saturday and Sunday.

Each year, Friends of the Fair  organize the event. Its goal is to  promote equestrian  and family activities and events similar to Delbert Days and The Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo, along with team penning and  barrel racing.

“It’s our 20th year of Delbert Days Rodeo, so it’s our biggest one yet,” said volunteer Brooks Claas.

The annual Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association and Delbert Days will feature many activities for families which include bounce houses, a petting zoo and live music as well.

Face painting, a mechanical giant taco, rock climbing wall, two mechanical bulls, and mutton bustin’ will also be available.

Gates open at 10 a.m., for kid’s free activities. If kids want to participate in mutton bustin’ families will need to show up early for registration. Registration is at 10a.m. and the mutton bustin’ starts at 11 a.m.
