Runners took off from the Grand Island Park Saturday morning for Sandie’s Pass 5K Walk and Run. The money from the event benefitted the Sandy Alger Memorial Fund. The memorial fund offers free no questions asked rides home for impaired people to help prevent drunk driving and drunk driving education programs. It was sponsored by Pro Therapy.
