Tiny Mites And Mighty Mites Play Last Home Game Saturday

The Pop Warner Tiny Mites and Mighty Mites play their last home game Saturday morning at the Island Ballfields.

Karen Gill, whose grandson Cayden plays for the Tiny Mites said, “Without the support of the many volunteers, coaches, family, friends, neighbors and an entire community, team unity wouldn’t be as great.”

“There is no other more patriotic community who come together and support each other,” Gill said.

“If you haven’t been to one of their games, you really are missing out on heartwarming good stuff. They’ve played some fantastic games,” she said.

The Tiny Mites begin at 8 a.m. on the Island Football Field, across from the Havasu Marina, and the Mighty Mites follow soon after. The games are open to the public.
