Volunteers gathered at Springberg Park Saturday morning to learn the ropes of crewing for a hot air balloon. Balloon pilots Jim Dolan, Ron Aros, and Morgan Braden, along with Hanne Dolan, Diana Moore, Bob MacMillian and Becky Goldberg, taught the volunteers safety of working with a hot air balloon and how to properly crew. Balloons will fill Havasu skies the week of January 15th for the Havasu Balloon Fest and volunteers are always appreciated and needed to help everything run smoothly.
After the hands-on demonstration was over, a few of the crew volunteers were treated to a balloon ride over Lake Havasu.
