Havasu Girls ASA Softball celebrated their opening day Saturday at Rotary Park. After the awards ceremony, MacKenzie Funk, daughter of Linda Funk who recently passed away after a battle with cancer, threw the first pitch in honor of her mother. Twenty-six teams will be competing this season in the Havasu Girls ASA Softball league.
