Lake Havasu High School’s Career Center gives students opportunities to succeed in life during and after high school.
The center offers many different resources to students, along with giving them a place where they feel welcome and safe.
Francine Galea and Kaymee Kelly are the faculty operating the Career Center. They answer students’ questions, provide resources, and give career or life advice.
Galea, who has been in the school district for 24 years, said, “Resources available are job shadowing, presentations, military, free college classes, tutoring, internship programs, ACT and SAT information, help with resumes and college information presentations.”

“The career center aims to help students with life through high school and after high school, get them college-career ready, and get them to their goals,” Galea continues.
The Career Center gives access to community scholarships, which provides financial aid to students.
Dual Enrollment classes are available through Lake Havasu High School. And Imelda Felix, Early College Coordinator, assists students in the Career Center with balancing and choosing their college classes.
The career center sets students up for success, giving Lake Havasu High School a place where they can go to brighten their future.
