LHUSD Students Are Back In Class For 2026-2027

Lake Havasu Unified School District began the first day of the 2026-2027 school year Thursday. 

Students learned their classroom procedures on the first day of school along with getting to know their teachers and classmates. 

Lake Havasu High School seniors attended a “Senior Sunrise,” where the class of 2027 gathered at Rotary Community Park and watched the sun rise at the beginning of their senior year.

The students ate donated breakfast items and talked about their new chapter of school.

Remember school zones are 15 mph during the school day. Stay safe on the roads!
