High winds will be widespread throughout the tri-state area Sunday afternoon. Winds in excess of 39mph are predicted for the Lake Havasu area and 40-60mph winds are expected throughout the region.
The strongest winds are predicted from 2-6pm Sunday afternoon. Secure any loose items in your yard. As of 9:30 am Sunday morning, winds were gusting 25mph at the Lake Havasu City Airport.
