The annual Toys For Tots drive was organized more than 40 years ago by the Lake Havasu City Kiwanis Club, according to Lisa Theopolis.

The club partners with the Lake Havasu City Marine Corps League and other local organizations to ensure that local children have toys to open on Christmas.

Theopolis said special contributors include Havasu 95 and PetSmart as well as many local businesses that collect toys for the drive. Havasu 95 Speedway donated a total of 163 items including bikes, scooters and skateboards to the program this year.
