Students sat in the bleachers, some with tear filled eyes, while local Lake Havasu Fire, Police, and Ambulance workers demonstrated the dangers of drunk driving at the LHHS track and field Thursday morning. The students witnessed fellow classmates in a “mock” scenario of a drunk driving accident, with fire and police responding during “Operation Prom Night.” Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and the Lake Havasu High School sponsored the demonstration before Prom, which will take place this Saturday evening.
