The 42nd Annual Charity Pro-Am Team Bass Tournament was last weekend at Havasu Riviera in Lake Havasu City.
The event kicked off Friday evening at Anderson Toyota, with a banquet to thank sponsors and teams for their participation. The tournament benefits New Horizons in Lake Havasu City.
Shugrue’s catered the dinner and Mudshark Public House was on hand with free drinks for the participants and sponsors.
Gift baskets were handed out by New Horizon clients during a raffle drawing.
Saturday, teams headed out early in the morning to see who can bring back the biggest fish. The tournament was catch and release.
The tournament’s title sponsors were Anderson Toyota and Sharq Skinz and the event raised close to $10,000.
According to their website, New Horizons is an adult residential home that supports independent living services. They use a person-centered thinking philosophy when supporting the individual and their circle of Support.
