Press Release: What better way to spend the day than fishing on beautiful Lake Havasu and supporting an amazing local non-profit in the process? The New Horizons 35th Annual Pro-Am Fishing Tournament is around the corner and the time to register is now! This tournament has resulted in over $420,000 to support programs for people with disabilities in
Lake Havasu City! Thanks to all the sponsors, New Horizons is able to receive proceeds without deducting the prize money payouts.

New Horizons is a non-profit organization that provides service to people with developmental disabilities (includes: Autism, Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy in addition to cognitive disabilities) of all ages. The organization provides services that include: Residential options, (Group homes, semi-independent apartment living) activity programs with transportation, and early intervention (working with babies ages 0 – 6 and their families).

This is a Pro-Am Tournament; an amateur is anyone who has not finished in any major draw tournament as a PRO in the last 5 years. All ages are welcome, two amateurs together is ok (you do not have to fish with a pro); however, no more than two people per boat. Entries will be assigned a starting position in the order they are received. The Tournament will be on April 11th, 2015 at Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4. New for 2015 is the “GOON” payout, $20 per boat 50/50 payout. Hurry there is still time to register and reserve your spot.
