Pooches Join Owners On The Runway At Paws For Fashion

The Nautical Beachfront Resort sponsored the Paws for Fashion fundraiser Saturday evening to benefit the Western Arizona Humane Society Building Campaign.

One of the event organizers, Kathy Jo Baumer, said there were eight models with their pooches participating in the fashion show, while eight local businesses provided the fashion.

Among those business supporting the event were Dillard’s, Bling, Chic Again, Golf USA, Hotoveli and the Nautical Beachfront Resort Boutique. Paws for Fashion event to benefit Western Arizona Humane Society building campaign.

“We have a fashion show with people and their dogs. We have raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing and the Nautical Beachfront Resort sponsored the entire event,” Baumer said.

The Western Arizona Humane Society is raising funds to complete renovation at a building on Sweetwater Avenue that will house the future animal shelter.
